I haven’t written a blog post in a while but I just had to now because I just left a masterclass with Lisette Oropesa and I was so happy that she’s not doing a “typical” class. She’s dishing real talk about what we singers need to do to go out and present our best selves. She’s not teaching to any one specific demographic, she’s speaking to all levels and situations. This is the realest advice I’ve heard, given in a way that is positive, compassionate and, most of all, HELPFUL! She’s covering auditioning, competition, what to wear, what not to wear, managers/agents, playing to your strengths, and much more.  She plans to do another tonight at 8pm and then she will be doing classes in different styles.
